When traditional implants aren’t an option, and zygomatic implants aren’t the preferred path, IPS Preprosthetic® provides a patient-specific alternative. Designed for partial- and full-arch rehabilitation in patients who lack sufficient alveolar bone, IPS Preprosthetic® offers rigidly fixated and stable prosthetic foundation independant of alveolar bone availability.

The journey begins with high-resolution 3D imaging which is uploaded to our proprietary IPS® Gate platform, where your surgeon collaborates directly with KLS Martin engineers to create the perfect implant tailored to your unique bone anatomy.
Following fabrication of the custom titanium framework through select laser melting, the implant is surgically placed. Its patient-specific design allows for an exceptionally precise fit to the underlying bone anatomy.
After surgery, there is a healing period to allow the swelling to subside and the gums to settle around the titanium posts. Once the tissue is stable, the dentist uses photogrammetry and an intraoral scanner, a digital camera for the mouth, to take a “digital impression” of the posts.
The final stage involves fabrication and attachment of your permanent teeth. A dental laboratory uses the digital scans to create a custom “bar” or “bridge” that securely snaps or screws onto the implant posts.
